Community Management Team Lead
Job Summary: The Community Management Team Lead will oversee the social media moderation team, ensuring that all online interactions are monitored and managed effectively. This role involves developing moderation strategies, training team members, and addressing complex or sensitive issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media moderators.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular evaluations.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
- Develop and implement moderation strategies to maintain a safe and positive online environment.
- Establish and update community guidelines and moderation policies.
- Ensure consistency in moderation practices across all social media platforms.
- Oversee interactions on social media platforms, ensuring responses are timely, professional, and aligned with company guidelines.
- Manage complex or sensitive issues, escalating when necessary.
- Foster a positive and engaging community atmosphere.
- Monitor and analyze moderation metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and overall team performance.
- Prepare regular reports on moderation activities and outcomes.
- Use data insights to refine moderation strategies and improve community health.
- Provide feedback and insights from the moderation team to help shape overall social media strategies.
- Represent the moderation team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
- Lead the moderation team during crisis situations, ensuring swift and effective response to negative or harmful content.
- Develop and implement crisis management protocols for social media.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Community Management Team Lead or similar role, with leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and community management.
- Experience in developing and implementing moderation strategies.
- Ability to handle conflicts and sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Analytical skills to assess moderation metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
